A mock news story (400 words) about your accomplishments helping the latest issue of The Setonian, including quotes from yourself ("I look forward to reading what my students put in their lab reports," said Dennis Jerz, a Seton Hill University (SHU) faculty member.")

What should our election-related class project be? I've made a few suggestions in the class, but now is the time for me to listen.
3) Spot Political News (Ex 3) Ideas
Spot news is something tied to a particular event -- a speech, a protest, an accident. (As opposed to a personality profile, a movie review, or a general "University Adjusts to Growing Pains" article. What are your thoughts on this part of the course? (If you've finished this already, then of course you don't need to put anything here.)
4) Comprehensive Reading Reflection Blog Entry
Write an informal, personal essay that demonstrates your ability to draw on the assigned readings we have looked at since the beginning of the term. You are welcome to link to your previous blogging on the subject, and I encourage you to find a way to refer to every assigned reading over the course of your essay. But rather than simply list your previous links, work those references into a new, original observation or statement, in order to demonstrate the progress you have made in EL200 (both in the context of your personal goals for the class, as you articulated in an earlier assignment, and the official objectives of the course).

If you haven't taken EL200 before (or optionally, if you'd like a refresher), include a response to these handouts on basic journalism concepts. Explain how you changed the way you approached your first lab report, based on something that you learned from these handouts.
