Do we even know where the technological line is anymore to toe it? If the rest of the world slips head long down the rabbit hole, will we drag Old Order peoples down with us, or leave them looking down on our foolish ways?

Jessie, Marshall McLuhan -- the English professor who coined the term "Global Village" -- argued that technology drives us closer together. Of course, some villages are horrible places to live, but that may be beside the point!
Today I was offered to be paid by an elderly couple to help them learn how to do "simple tasks on their new computer." I have to admit I was slightly itimidated. Why?
