Ex 3: Unit 2 Proposal (200-word paragraph)
Which topic from Rereading America should the class choose for Unit 2? Before you begin writing, narrow your list down to two good choices, and brainstorm the pros and cons of each.
Before you submit the exercise, confirm that you have supplied a thesis paragraph that includes a clear position -- why the class should choose topic X over topic Y. Confirm that the body of your paper refers to specific essays in order to support your claims.
