March 2009 Archives

Where are we now? Let's take time to reflect and discuss.

Propose a unit for your third paper. (You can choose your own unit, to read and study on your own -- there's no need for the class to agree on a single unit.)

For this exercise, write a 200-word paragraph that chooses a unit we have not yet read, and cites two or three essays as evidence of why you have chosen the unit for your next paper.

We began this process informally, in class on Friday before the break, when we chose readings 3-1 and 3-2. You may keep the same unit you chose in class on that day, but please choose different readings..
