Benneton Clothing to Carry Tiny Tracking Transmitters

“Benetton’s Sisley line of clothing will contain a Philips Electronics radio frequency ID tag that will replace ubiquitous bar codes, which have to be manually scanned…..While there is no indication Benetton intends to track its customers with the tags, privacy advocates are worried that the technology could lend itself to unauthorized customer monitoring.” —Benneton Clothing to Carry Tiny Tracking TransmittersSF Gate)

  1. Hi my name is hanny brooks and I live on curacao. I bought a child-size t-shirt in the benneton-store here on the island. however, when I washed the shirt, (it was a small size for a child from about three years old), it became a double size. not in the length but it really became twice as large.
<br/>knowing the benneton quality, I was very surprised.
<br/>untill I thought maybe it is fake….I will please advice you, to check this store out, because again, this is not the benneton-quality I am used to. and sure not the quality I payed for.
    <br/>thank you for your attention.
