Groundhog Day and IF (again)

Today being Groundhog Day in U.S. (and elsewhere?) reminds me how the movie Groundhog Day suggests a model for how interactive stories could work.   1. I absolutely LOVE Groundhog Day. It’s an allegorical fantasy. In grad school I wrote an article about this film as an illustration of Freud’s theory of repetition compulsion. Although it’s not about Interactive Fiction, I’m sure I could dig up a copy if anyone reading this needs it.
