The new clip improves on last night’s version, I’ve added blinking eyes, improved the nose glowing effect, and moved one of the legs a bit.
Update: Here’s the file if you’d like to use it.

Andy, I’ve added a link to the .blend file. Enjoy.
if you still have the file and are willing to share it, I’d love to use it in a holiday planetarium show I’m building.
Everyone who uses Blender3D is using someone else’s hard work, and I’d be happy to provide a model for your use. I haven’t rigged the mouth or the back feet just yet, but if I can slip that in between grading papers over the next few days, I’ll post a link to the file here.
Hey Dennis,
I have a favor to ask of you. I’m trying to whip up a Christmas movie with my kids and am needing a sleigh and reindeer in Blender. I’m pretty new at using it, so I haven’t been able to make a reindeer, but I can manipulate rigged models. Is there any way I could get you blender file and use it in our home movie? I know it seems kind of lame using someone else’s hard work, but I’d be sure to put you in the credits.
Scott
Very nice–much improved over the previous. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
