Mike, my wife and I got hooked on B5 during grad school. We didn’t get cable (and still don’t) so my sister would fill up a VHS tape with shows. We’d watch 6 episodes in a row as soon as a new tape came. The series creator wrote over half of the episodes himself, so the whole series functions as a unified narrative arc that really grew on me.
