By taking a neutral stance, journalists and media are being complacent in our fight.” —Chronicle of Higher Education

An ethical journalist cannot swear allegiance to any faction on condition of being granted access to sources. An ethical journalist reports without allegiance to any faction.

Ethical journalism should be accurate and fair. Journalists should be honest and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information. —Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics
