Reading 1-1

Read pages 1-28 in From Inquiry to Academic Writing, and use Moodle to post responses. Due before class on the 24th.

The book includes several other activities and questions, but I am not asking you to complete them all.

Here is the text of the prompt you will see within Moodle.

Read pages 1-28 inĀ From Inquiry to Academic Writing.

Of the two authors, Rodriguez and Ross, which one more closely represents your own experience as a literate person? Quote a brief passage (no more than two sentences), identifying the author and page number of the quote, and explain how the passage you chose explains your answer. Review items 1-5 on pages 1-28. Then, complete either item 1 on page 27, or item 5 on page 28.

[P]ost your response (about 200 words) to the Moodle forum; then, leave comments on the responses posted by 2-4 classmates.
