Consultations

To receive attendance credit, schedule and complete a satisfatory 10-minute office visit on the 14th, 17th, or 18th.

If you schedule your visit on Friday, there is no advance prep you need to do.

If you come on Monday or Tuesday, please bring a written (typed or hand-written, on paper) response to the feedback on your draft of Essay 2. (I plan to post all that feedback to Turnitin.com, by the end of the day Friday.)

Research Question

What do you need to know, before you can write a thorough, balanced, informed paper? Rather than re-stating what you already believe about your topic, phrase your research question neutrally, and plan to explore more than one credible reaction Thus, “Why Do Elementary Students Need More Music Education?” would be liimiting, but “What Factors Determine How Much Music Elementary Schools Teach?” would be eye-opening.
