Leave out the gory details of the situation. Do not always assume that the suspect is guilty. Leave your opinions out of the story. Examples: The head was still dripping blood after the decaptitation.(the reader does not need to know that) Example 2) Mike Smith of Laketown rd, Greensburg was the person who shot Mrs. in the head. (we do not know that yet) Example 3)I think that anyone with a mustache is an idiot. (my own opinion)
