The lead roles in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” are being performed by a father and daughter.Dennis Jerz of Greensburg plays Oberon, king of the fairies, and his daughter, Carolyn Jerz, plays Puck, Oberon’s mischievous helper.
As director, Mr. Carosella describes Carolyn, who will be a high school freshman this fall, as a “triple threat.”
“She can sing, she can dance, and she can act,” he said. “She takes direction well and she’s willing to learn.”
Mr. Jerz, an associate professor of English at Seton Hill University, has appeared with his daughter in Stage Right’s productions of “Annie” at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg and “The Secret Garden” at the Greensburg Garden & Civic Center and in “Man of La Mancha” last month at the Latrobe Art Center.
