MDs' neckties 'a health hazard'

View Comments

  • Absolutely! Take away the fancy shoes, the socks, the $2,000 pinstriped suit, the silk tie, the starched white shirt - all the symbols of prestige - and drop them all in the hospital hamper. And dress those doctors up in hospital PJs! Now they will be clean!

  • Are you willing to extend that argument to surgical gowns and clothes in general? Just curious! :)

  • Neckties? I'm more concerned about shoes. Talk about germs! So lose the Italian loafers and the mirror-shined wingtips, doc - get barefoot and keep us all healthier
