Should we type up an informal proposal and include a bibliography of some works we plan on using? If so, how detailed do you wish for us to be?
I don't expect a proposal (formal or informal) at this stage.
Still, the more you bring me, the more helpful I can be -- though it's too early to start writing the actual paper.
What might you bring?
A bibliography with several sources.... OR
A book, a printout or photocopy of an academic article... OR
Just a clear idea of what topic you want to research.
Just be ready to explain why you think your topic is good for a research paper in a class on literary study, and be ready to give me some idea of how much research you have done into the topic.
Does that answer help?
Yes, that helps alot. Sorry I need so much clarification about pretty much everything. My mind thinks in two completely different directions at the same time (like seeing both sides of the fence) and I'm afraid to just sit on the fence and miss something I should have picked up.
