I've only seen the 403 / login error once, and I use the blogs a lot, so it's hard for me to gauge the seriousness of the problem by myself.

If I see entries being posted (as they have been in the past few hours, I'll assume all is well. Whenever you run into a problem, please e-mail me so that I have a record of when the problem started.

The problem seems to be that Yahoo recently visited all the pages on blogs.setonhill.edu to update its search index. I've made an adjustment that will ask search engines to spread out their indexing over time, so that they won't overwhelm our server.
