After last night’s first rehearsal for “Fiddler on the Roof,” things that have made me start singing “Tradition!” in my head so far today:
1) Reading the name “Alyssa.” (Alyssa!)
2) Thinking about textbooks for next semester. (Edition!)
3) Thinking about hell. (Perdition!)
4) Turning on my car engine. (Ignition!)
5) Thinking about my upcoming state vehicle inspection (Emissions!)
6) Thinking about sending my kids to college. (Tuition!)
7) Hearing my car door lock sound. (Beep-BEE-beep!)
8) Giving a student feedback about his rhetorical stance. (Position!)
9) Giving a student feedback about a too-rapid topic shift. (Transition!)
10) Thinking about lunch. (Nutrition!)
11) Thinking about what I’d feel for myself if I were to post about this. (Derision!)
