Did they even check that those details related to the David Dao who was dragged off Flight 3411 in Chicago? There is presently confusion about whether the man on the United flight was actually David Thanh Duc Dao, quite possibly another person entirely to David Anh Duy Dao, the man with the criminal records. —Independent (UK)

Following up... the Courier-Journal and the LA Times are among sources that clarify that there ARE two different men with similar names, both are doctors, and the man dragged off the flight IS the man with the criminal record. While it remains questionable whether the United passenger's criminal record has any revelence to this story, it is NOT true that the reporter who broke the news botched the facts. http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-united-david-dao-20170412-story.html
