Field of Rainbows [Copyeditor's Make Mistake's Sometime's]

  • Oh this makes me sad... It's such a nice picture just trying to make a play on "Field of Dreams," I think, but rather poorly since, as Dr. A says, there's only one rainbow... unless there's one we can't see.

Apostrophes are a big deal. Most wars are based on ownership... I wouldn't be surprised if an apostrophe starts a war someday (if it hasn't already). That would make a great book... (maybe one I'll have to write! :)

  • Great photo. Good catch. (Moreover, shouldn't it be "Field of Rainbows" (capital R)? Or just "Rainbow" (singular)?)
