My “Media Aesthetics” students worked with students from Elizabeth Jacobs’s “Social Psychology” class, where students wrote editorials and designed infographics about cognitive dissonance. My students helped the psychology students with their drafts, then chose essays they thought had a good chance of going viral, and used WordPress, Facebook, Twitter and Hootsuite to publicize those selections.
Welcome to Dissing Dissonance, the blog dedicated to showing the hard work students have done to create essays and visuals about a variety of topics. The students who created these projects are from a Seton Hill’s psychology course taught by Dr. Jacobs. Six students from Dr. Jerz’s Media Aesthetics course have come together to present these informational projects in the shape of a blog and Facebook page .
