I Felt a Great Disturbance in the Font. And the Margins.

  • Um... aren't theses set by word count? Also, sans serif typeface should be avoided; they look nice and tidy but after centuries of joined letters in hand script and use in print the eye follows the flow better. This applies to a curved tail. Kudos for the instincts of serif fanatics!

  • Have you had any of them increase the font size of periods to expand the number of pages? Less obvious than extra wide margins. But a clear act of academic dishonestly as opposed to being boneheaded with the margins.
