New Graphic for MLA Style Paper Handout

The other day, I noticed that if you Google for “mla style paper,” the first two images that appear are from my website — but out of context, they aren’t terribly useful. They’re just screenshots of sample papers.

I’ve added some callouts with visual tips. Not the best graphic I’ve ever created, but certainly more useful than just a screenshot of a sample paper.  During the academic year, the MLA style handout is the most popular page on my site (and it’s the fourth text link out of almost 2 million Google hits). I use this handout every semester, and based on the comments that collect on the page, plenty of strangers find it helpful.

Here’s hoping Google finds my new image soon.

What do you think about the new graphic? What am I missing?

Next on the to-do list is the Works Cited page.
