The MLA conference is beginning in Philly, and not a word from the lit. hyenas. Anyone who values reasonable approaches to great literature should be concerned with what the post-mod Duchesses are doing with Shakespeare, TS Eliot, etc. A Steven Toulim is not likely to appear.
