Told to express emotion for a creative-writing class, high-school senior Allen Lee penned an essay so disturbing to his teacher, school administrators and police that he was charged with disorderly conduct, officials said Wednesday.

The contents of the essay are still being withheld, so it’s hard to say whether the teacher’s fear was well-founded or not.
I’ll say this much: listen to the lyrics from popular rap music. There’s plenty of “violently disturbing” writing to be found there.
