It’s a little bit shallow and solipsistic to say a liberal arts degree is valuable because it can make you a better Borg drone in the technohive, but this guy seems to mean well.
Most liberal arts degrees encourage a well-rounded curriculum that can give students exposure to programming alongside the humanities. Philosophy, literature, art, history and language give students a thorough understanding of how people document the human experience. Technology is a part of our human experience, not a replacement to it. —David Kalt

Whatever works….Though I’m a liberal arts major, I’d still maintain there are creative people in just about any major. Many young people have no clear career path, but if pursuing the liberal arts helps you to “know yourself” and gain some needed perspective on your vocation, I’d say follow your passions.
