In the world of today, people die. People have died throughout the course of humankind, and many writers have written writings about death, whether good or bad. Webster’s defines death as “…”. Many have their own believes about death. Almost everyone beliefs in the afterlife, though a few belief that the afterlife comes through reincarnation. Everyone else beliefs in heaven and hell. Though Purgatory is a thing thought of by those who follow the catholic religion. This essay will look at death in the novel and compare and contrast it. There are many similarities and differences between people who drown, people who burn, and people who die. The iceberg is an allegory.
