You find yourself in yon dungeon. Back yonder there is a FLASK. Obvious exits are NORTH, SOUTH, and DENNIS.

Bobby actually e-mailed me this suggestion a few days ago, and I saw it in a comment on MGK, and on the rec.arts.int-fiction newsgroup, but this was the first week of classes, and I only had the chance to view it just now. At the end, you can actually play the different spoof games.
If you aren’t familiar with the Strong Bad character, here’s another of my favorites: “A Well Thought-Out English Paper“

All you do in the game is this: go south.
Take trinket.
Go north.
go Dennis.
Give trinket.
You win.
You can also talk to dennis. Going north kills you.
give me the url
ok, I hated the first “thy dungeonman” game, until my feeble brain realized the only real thing to do is give the trinket to dennis! Yay! ANyone know of any of ways to get out of there?
Is the walkthrough sight for “thy dungeonman walkthrough” still up? I couldn’t find it anywhere. Could you please provide a link?
Yes, it’s short, but it’s a playable game. If you need help, try Googling for “thy dungeonman walkthrough”.
so can you actually get anywhere in the game or what?
Something I notice about Dennis’s and other people’s blogs is that they get addictive to comment on! Anyway, I must confess that I downloaded the English paper and the Techno song. My favorites from StrongBad’s e-mail are “english paper,” “techno,” “the bird,” “sibbie” (all-time favorite), and “japanese cartoon.”
I read the English paper one awhile ago–isn’t it wonderful? ;-) I don’t know what kind of “really cool” nickname I should come up with for extra points. Kyle “The Yellow Dart” is already taken…
What’s funnier is that I had no clue “Dennis” was actually one of the cardinal directions. :^)
What do I look like, one of those intellectual types with better imaginations?
Nice jimber jam! What’s a trinket? ;-)
