People do like to prank journalists with fake names. In this case, the reporter did what you’re supposed to do — get confirmation — but sheesh.

KTVU reports fake racist names of Asiana Airlines 214 pilots from NTSB intern — MSNBC.
The National Transportation and Safety Board later released a statement saying that “a summer intern acted outside the scope of his authority when he erroneously confirmed the names“.
