The show is based on The Merchant of Yonkers, a 1938 comedy written by Thorton Wilder. (He is more famous for Our Town.)

Greensburg, Pa – Stage Right! Stage Right is proud to present the 6th Annual All-County Musical, April 26,27,28 at the Palace Theatre. With a cast of 60 plus kids from all over the local area, the All-County Musical tackles one of Musical Theatre’s greatest shows – Hello Dolly. The All-County Musical, started 6 years ago by Stage Right, is meant to be an All-Star game for the high school students in the area who love Musical Theatre. The show allows kids from schools all over the area to come together and create a weekend of very special theatre. Director Tony Marino:

“We have a great cast of kids who’ve come together to create this. They are working very hard and are really dedicated. Its awesome to work with a group that just loves being on stage. Even cooler is how many of them are discovering the show for the first time! Please come see them – they deserve it.”

Renata Marino serves as the Choreographer, Miss Cindy Baltzer is the Musical Director. The cast started working April 10 at the Stage Right Studios, the short rehearsal process is as well as working with Professional Equity Actors is part of the unique experience that the All-County provides its cast, as well as the thrill of performing in a venue like the Palace Theatre.

The cast is mainly triple cast in all the major roles providing as many kids as possible the chance to perform a role. Featured as Dolly are Emily Puleo of Latrobe, Bridgette Barclay of Yough and Carolyn Cole of Greensburg Central Catholic. Horace Vandegelders are Brian Sweeney of Greensburg Salem, Steven Myers of Franklin Regional and Dylan Baughman of PA Cyberschool. The role of Irene Molloy features Mari Boyle of Greensburg Salem, Nicole Stouffer of Mt. Pleasant and Missy Graf of Greensburg Central Catholic. Her friend Minnie Fae is played by Clare Harkins of Latrobe, Lindsey Ferguson of Latrobe and Mallory Kern of Norwin.
