Wired’s gaming blog ponders how one might play an official The Princess Bride game.
Will you have to defend yourself against ROUSes? Perhaps duel against the six-fingered man? Maybe if you collect a certain number of buttercups you unlock a mini game where you have to figure out what the hell Fezzick is saying. We’ll see, I suppose.

Those are great suggestions!
Will this be a kissing game?
(as much as I loathe Fred Savage’s “cute little boy” act, he was tolerable in that movie)
It would be interesting to see the game borrow some elements from the book that didn’t make it into the movie. There was a great deal more back story for the Fezzik and Inigo characters and an interesting chapter on Prince Humperdink’s “Zoo of Death” that would make for a good dungeon level. Also, you could change up the user experience by having different portions of the game from different character’s viewpoints.
