“The Java Morse code translator translates to and from Morse code and can play the Morse to you as sound. It runs on your computer and therefore is very quick.” Stephen Phillips —Java Morse Code TranslatorStephen’s Home Page)
My father was a radio operator when he was in the army. He described trying to send messages while in the back of a jeep. When he received a long message, he was very good at getting it all right the first time, but it was standard procedure to ask for a repeat. When the other operator was repeating the message, he would stretch out on a couch and take a nap. (- …. .- -. -.- … / ..-. — .-. / – …. . / .-.. .. -. -.- –..– / .-. — … . — .- .-. -.– .-.-.-)
