I’m trying out iMT, a slimmed-down blogging interface designed for the iPhone. It works with the iPad, though the design does not take advantage of the iPad’s screen size.
This interface only permits plain-text editing (so you have to code the HTML by hand if you want bold or photos and such).
There is no access to template design or other complex features. You can only assign an entry to a single category, and when I went into another Safari tab to get a URL, the screen blanked outbwhen it reloaded, and I had to start over.
I do hope MT will come up with something better for the iPad, but this is good enough that I can have students posting reflections and responding to comments from their iPads, even if copying chunks of text and creating links will be tedious.
